Zekrom is showing up in Pokémon Go raids now that its counterpart, Reshiram, is gone.
Starting on June 16, the dragon- and electric-type Legendary, Zekrom, will be the focus of five-star raids.
To take it down, use dragon-, ice-, fairy-, and ground-types. We recommend the following:
Keep in mind that Zekrom can know dragon-type moves as well, so you might want to abstain from using dragon-types if this is the case. You’ll be able to tell what moveset Zekrom has by taking a look at the recommended team that the game sets up for you in the lobby. If none of your strong dragon-types are in that line-up, it’s because the Zekrom you’re about to raid against knows dragon-type moves.
Zekrom is both a strong dragon-type and electric-type attacker. If you don’t have a team of Rayquaza or Salamence, you should teach it Dragon Breath and Outrage to fill that dragon-shaped void on your team. If you’ve already got enough dragons, use it as an electric-type with Charge Beam and Wild Charge.
