With Yandex.Mail set up as an IMAP account in Outlook, you can access all your folders and emails in the desktop email program.
Why Use a Browser for Yandex.Mail If You Can Have Outlook?
Next to a browser, Outlook is always open on your computer for its calendar, task management and email prowess. Why then also open Yandex.Mail
in that browser with its comparatively limited email capabilities? Why
do that when you can also get almost all of Yandex.Mail in Outlook?
Using IMAP
to connect to a Yandex.Mail account, Outlook will not only pick up new
emails you receive at the Yandex.Mail address for you to read, you can
also reply using that address, of course, and send new messages; your
sent emails will appear in your online Sent folder, and the folders you have created in Yandex.Mail on the web will show up in Outlook for you to use.
If you move or delete messages here or there, your
actions will synchronize automatically. (Note that among the things
Yandex.Mail offers on the web that will not sync are its labels.)
