Before cleaning your mouse and keyboard, shut down your computer. Unplug the mouse and the keyboard.
For keyboard: Tilt the keyboard upside down and shake it to remove the dust particles that might have accumulated inside.
Use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to clean the keyboard keys.
For mouse: Turn your mouse upside down after unplugging it from the system.
The rubbery feet at the back of the mouse usually gather dust. A cotton swab dipped in alcohol should be used to clean them.
Use a different cotton swab to clean the central eye of the mouse.
Wipe your mouse with disinfectant wipes to clean the remaining area.
